What Happens in DC, Stays in DC

November 16, 2017

I think you folks back home can appreciate the need to protect the Nation’s Secrets in the Nation’s Capitol Building. The hard working taxpayers should not be burdened with the scandals in the Swamp including Congressmen chasing Interns through offices and around the hallowed statues of Segregationists like Robert Byrd and J. William Fulbright!

The Congressmen sometimes work 20 hours a month and, we all know, all work and no play makes for very dull Congressmen.

Therefore, our esteemed Congressmen established a taxpayer funded slush fund that allows our Congressmen to commit the crime of sexual harassment, pay off anybody who might expose the crime and live happily ever after.

I know, you thought our Congressmen couldn’t accomplish anything just because they couldn’t fix healthcare, cut taxes, cut reckless spending or bring those to justice who traded our uranium to Russia for some magic beans.

Silly you! Our Congressmen not only make laws that hog-tie hard working Americans while quadrupling our healthcare insurance premiums, they also were able to divert tax dollars to that neat little slush fund. So far the fund has paid out fifteen million dollars in hush money. Those fifteen million dollars could have built a Bridge to Nowhere or bought bureaucrats 250 Sport Utility Vehicles to cruise around the Swamp and take two hour lunch breaks.

The latest Gallup Congress Approval Poll stands at 16% but we all know the polls are rigged. My sense is that the number is closer to 7%?

How do you suppose Congress was able to approve that slush fund? Was it approved on an unlit airport tarmac or on the Floor of the United States House of Representatives? How did the Congressional Budget Office markup the slush fund? How did Paul Ryan vote? Mitch McConnell? John McCain? Bob Corker?

Now that this criminal activity has been exposed, what are the chances Congressional Hearings will be held and a Special Prosecutor Appointed?

Congress has been silent while President Trump has been raked over the coals; will you allow this to be swept under the rug? Will you demand to know who was paid off, what for and how much?

I am just one old retired fighter pilot but I am sick and tired of the secrecy, corruption and debauchery that is rampant in the Capitol Building, Cannon Building, Ford Building, Longworth Building, O’Neill Building, Rayburn Building, Russell Senate Office Building, Dirksen Senate Office Building and Hart Senate Office Building.

Congress can investigate General Flynn and President Trump while they thumb their noses at the Constitution!!!! Nobody is accountable in the Swamp? Do you care?

Understanding Media Bias

October 12, 2017

As a highly trained former Intelligence Analyst at the National Security Agency, I understand the subtleties of media bias that go unnoticed by most people. Let’s say Russia challenged the United States to a one mile foot race. The fastest person from each country ran the race and the American crossed the finish line first.

The media reported that the Russian finished second while the American finished next to last. All the truth detectors like Snopes, would gleefully report that the news was truthful. The facts cannot be disputed but the report was highly misleading. Before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, this was the type of propaganda routinely seen in Pravda, the Soviet News agency.

Media bias is the bias or perceived bias of journalists and news producers within the mass media in the selection of events and stories that are reported and how they are covered. The term “media bias” implies a pervasive or widespread bias contravening the standards of journalism, rather than the perspective of an individual journalist or article. The direction and degree of media bias is widely disputed.

Practical limitations to media neutrality include the inability of journalists to report all available stories and facts, and the requirement that selected facts be linked into a coherent narrative. Market forces that result in a biased presentation include the ownership of the news source, concentration of media ownership, the selection of staff, the preferences of an intended audience, and pressure from advertisers.

There are a number of national and international watchdog groups that report on bias in the media but most are more biased than the media they watch.

Clearly, some media in the United States systematically emphasize one particular point of view in a way that contravenes the standards of professional journalism. Claims of media bias in the United States include claims of liberal bias, conservative bias, mainstream bias, and corporate bias.

CNN is especially highlighted by President Trump for what he calls, “Fake News.” CNN was created by Ted Turner in 1980. Turner was expelled from Brown University for having a girl in his Dorm Room. In 1989 he was awarded an Honorary B.A. Degree from the University that had kicked him out. That was two years before he married his third wife, Jane Fonda. Oh, the lives of the rich and famous liberals!

Ted Turner’s media empire began with his father’s billboard business, Turner Outdoor Advertising, which he took over in 1963 after his father’s suicide. It was worth $1 million. His purchase of an Atlanta UHF station in 1970 began the Turner Broadcasting System. CNN revolutionized news media, covering the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986 and the Persian Gulf War in 1991. Turner turned the Atlanta Braves baseball team into a nationally popular franchise and launched the charitable Goodwill Games. He helped revive interest in professional wrestling by buying World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Turner’s penchant for controversial statements earned him the nicknames “The Mouth of the South” and “Captain Outrageous”. Turner also devoted his assets to environmental causes. He was the largest private landowner in the United States until John C. Malone surpassed him in 2011. He uses much of his land for ranches to re-popularize bison meat (for his Ted’s Montana Grill chain), amassing the largest herd in the world. He also created the environmental-themed animated series Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

To understand CNN, I thought you should understand the father of CNN. In my opinion, traditional journalism was on life support for a long time before it expired last year. I looked at a lot of charts that placed media based on their bias. This chart by Sharyl Attkisson is depicted because I believe it’s the best. I am a deplorable member of the vast right wing conspiracy who loves America and flew combat missions to defend America. I think Ted Turner did build his media empire, not the government even though they may have built the roads that lead to his property.

When the top story at CNN turns out to be the First Lady boarding Air Force One wearing high heels on her way to visit Hurricane ravaged Texas, some people might scratch their heads. Since the First Lady participates in numerous activities during every single day, I knew that she changes attire multiple times. I had no expectation that she would wear heels in Texas and she didn’t.

Just how negative is the coverage of President Donald Trump? Let’s look at a Harvard Study.

The Harvard scholars analyzed the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and the main newscasts (not talk shows) of CBS, CNN, Fox and NBC during Trump’s initial time in office. They found, to no one’s surprise, that Trump absolutely dominated news coverage in the first 100 days. And then they found that news coverage was solidly negative — 80 percent negative among those outlets studied, versus 20 percent positive. The numbers for previous presidents: Barack Obama, 41 percent negative, 59 percent positive; George W. Bush, 57 percent negative, 43 percent positive; and Bill Clinton, 60 percent negative, 40 percent positive.

The talk shows, like Morning Joe and Rachel Maddow, might really skew the numbers but they were ignored. MSNBC didn’t even make the study but I’m sure they never said one positive thing about our President. The coverage of some news organizations was so negative, according to the Harvard study, that it seems hard to argue that the coverage was anywhere near a neutral presentation of facts. Assessing the tone of news coverage, the Harvard researchers found that CNN’s Trump coverage was 93 percent negative, and seven percent positive. The researchers found the same numbers for NBC.

Others were slightly less negative. The Harvard team found that CBS coverage was 91 percent negative and 9 percent positive. New York Times coverage was 87 percent negative and 13 percent positive. Washington Post coverage was 83 percent negative and 17 percent positive. Wall Street Journal coverage was 70 percent negative and 30 percent positive. And Fox News coverage also leaned to the negative, but only slightly: 52 percent negative to 48 percent positive.

Ninety-three percent negative — that’s a lot by anybody’s standards. “CNN and NBC’s coverage was the most unrelenting — negative stories about Trump outpaced positive ones by 13-to-1 on the two networks,” the study noted. “Trump’s coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity.”

Factor in the fact that these media outlets ignore a lot of negative information about Hillary Clinton and other Democrats. I would also like to note that Fox News never fails to report biased Democrat talking points and showed video clips of Hillary Clinton making arguments against President Trump over and over again. You would never see the other networks giving the same coverage to President Trump, Trey Gowdy, Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh. The totality of the united effort in opposition to our President is staggering. President Trump poured gasoline on the media and made them madder by the minute until their coverage was seething with vitriolic hatred.

Fox was a top 10 donor to the Clinton’s and had to support their agenda while pretending to be fair and balanced. Did Fox fool you? I’m down to Sean Hannity and very few others. Fox hung the late Alan Colmes around Sean’s neck in the beginning and forces the likes of Geraldo, Juan and Perino on him from time to time. I change channels when they come on along with Never Trumpers like Chris Wallace and Shep Smith. I can’t get OAN yet but I’m working on dumping Cox Communications at the first opportunity. I started resolutepost.com to counter the corrupt media and the increasingly troublesome social media. I carried the Marsha Blackburn campaign ad that was blocked by Twitter and anticipate doing the same thing in the future as Twitter, Facebook and Google place their boots on the necks of citizens exercising their Freedom of Speech Rights.

Special interest groups and corporations pay big bucks to journalists and politicians to speak knowing full well they are buying good will and special treatment. All that money that went to Hillary could have bought all the tea in China.

The media, after putting lipstick on politicians for months, end up giving them the big prize: their Endorsement. How surprising that the New York Times and Washington Post, after long and painstaking research, would endorse the likes of Hillary Clinton.

The corrupt media is not above using scare tactics to get their way. CNN predicted the Stock Market would crash if Trump was elected. Unless you live under a rock or you’re a Harvard Professor, you know the opposite is what actually happened beginning on the day President Trump was elected. The media gave him less than a 10% chance and joked about it. “Do you ever actually laugh when you watch Donald Trump?,” Jimmy Kimmel asked Obama, who responded that he does, most of the time.

Obama joked about a tweet from Trump: “President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!”

“At least I’ll go down as a president,” Obama quipped and the Kimmel audience roared with laughter. Obama also said and CNN reported that, “The Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president.” On the campaign trail, “Obama has taken a considerably more foreboding tone toward Trump, joining other Democratic all-stars like Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, and others calling Trump unfit for the White House.”

They threw the book and the kitchen sink at Donald Trump and he’s still standing and America is growing stronger and more prosperous by the minute. All those who laughed at the suggestion Donald Trump could get elected, like George Stephanopoulos and a legion of know-it-all’s, have learned that the joke was on them.

Insurance Companies are as Efficient as Federal Agencies

July 14, 2017

Insurance Companies own Politicians in DC and your state Legislature!

In addition to TV commercials and political contributions, they can’t count beans unless they have Palatial Offices in Marble Skyscrapers.  The first building to be called the tallest building in the world was an Insurance Company Building shown above.  Then, the third building to earn that title was another Insurance Company Building.

The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Building in New York City became the fifth building to become the world’s tallest.  It is shown above and had 50 floors.  I visited that building in 1961 during my high school senior trip.  It was amazing watching banks of computers with spools of magnetic tape spinning around.

The MetLife Computer was probably a Univac with the capabilities of my smartphone but with a starting price of $7 million.

When I had Blue Cross I received piles of totally unnecessary mail from them. My cost for Blue Cross Healthcare Insurance was almost nothing when I first worked for the Federal Government in 1978. By the time I retired in 1996, Blue Cross was bloated and inefficient like ANY Agency in Federal or State Government.

This is a Blue Cross Building that was the Pennsylvania State Headquarters.  It only had 45 floors but every state has something similar.  I don’t know if this is still in use or if they needed a taller skyscraper?

The way Insurance Companies have a low Profit Margin is by lavish spending, exorbitant salaries and wasting money. Why have a meeting in the office when you can have a meeting on the French Riviera?

Insurance company bean counters make more than surgeons and state CEOs make millions.

If Walmart efficiency and management was present in the Insurance Industry, the Healthcare Crisis would be solved almost overnight!

In my 2007 book, TOP GUN MANAGEMENT, I wrote about waste and inefficiency. I remember when the Massachusetts Blue Cross CEO got a huge multi million dollar raise after losing a large percentage of customers.

Government Agencies and Insurance Companies have no incentive to be cost efficient. The Government simply raises taxes and Insurance Companies simply raises rates when funds are needed.  Are you able to do that in your household?

My last year with the Government I had a six figure surplus in civilian pay. I could have hired temporary or permanent employees or converted the surplus to another budget category.

I had a surplus because I didn’t hire employees I didn’t need or buy wall paintings and a Louis XIV desk for my office.

I turned the excess funds back to the Government. Do you think they went to pay down the National Debt or to fix broken combat aircraft?

They went to a typical Government Director who easily blew the funds.

Who do you think the Government had more respect for, the Director who blew the money or me?  You guessed it!

The famous government leaders you see on TV all the time, for the most part, never met a payroll or worried about paying bills.  They are either bureaucrats or politicians.  Most could not run a lemonade stand.  Couple the inefficiencies in both the insurance industry and the government with fraud, waste and abuse and you have the recipe for disaster.  Not a disaster for the government or the insurance company but a disaster for the taxpayers and subscribers.

Who polices the government and the insurance industry?  Usually the fox guards the hen house.  The government has a completely fraudulent watchdog system called the Inspector General System.  The IG’s almost never substantiate wrong doing but they come down hard on whistleblowers.  The IG works for the agency or military commander, they are not independent.  They are very careful not to embarrass their boss.

States have Insurance Commissioners who are no match for clever insurance executives.  Especially since too many sorry politicians get elected on the backs of insurance lobbyists who scratch their backs.

I think most of the people reading this fully understand why President Trump calls it the Swamp.  President Reagan said government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem.  The same could be said for the insurance industry as it now functions.

If your Politician will get behind President Donald Trump, America has a chance.  It is unlikely that your politician will kill the insurance company that lays the golden egg.

If your Politician sticks with the Insurance and Hospital Lobbies, we are toast.

Thank You for our Freedom Poland

July 6, 2017

With President Trump’s visit to Poland, maybe it’s time I told you about what Poland means to America. Since public schools won’t tell you, it’s up to old Gene McVay to step up.

General George Washington would have been killed during the Revolutionary War if it were not for Casimir Pulaski who was born in Winiary, some 40 miles south of Warsaw in 1745. The story of how a Polish boy became the father of the American Cavalry might interest you?

Pulaski’s father, Joseph, was the owner of eight villages and towns as well as over one hundred farms with businesses across the entire country. The Pulaski family was Catholic. Sometimes Joseph was gone for weeks at a time. The sight of his father’s carriage rolling toward home always brought Casimir galloping on horseback as fast as he could to meet his father. At that time, the threat to villages was the Cossacks who were pirates on horseback. They were swooping down from Russia and raiding small villages.

As Casimir grew older, he asked his father why the Polish Army couldn’t stop the evil Cossacks.

The answer was simple, the Polish Army had become too weak.

Pulaski became one of the leading military commanders for the Bar Confederation and fought against Russian domination of the Commonwealth. When this uprising failed, he was driven into exile. Following a recommendation by Benjamin Franklin, Pulaski immigrated to North America to help in the cause of the American Revolutionary War.

Upon arrival in America, Pulaski wrote this in a letter to General Washington, “I came here, where freedom is being defended, to serve it, and to live or die for it.”

Pulaski met with Washington in his headquarters in Neshaminy Falls, outside of Philadelphia and showed off his riding skills. He also argued for the superiority of cavalry over infantry. Because Washington was unable to grant him an officer rank, Pulaski spent the next few months traveling between General Washington and the United States Congress in Philadelphia, awaiting his appointment.

His first military engagement against the British occurred before he received a commission, on September 11, 1777, at the Battle of Brandywine. When the Continental Army troops began to yield, he reconnoitered with Washington’s bodyguards of about 30 men, and reported that the enemy was endeavoring to cut off the line of retreat. Washington ordered him to collect, as many as possible, the scattered troops who came his way, and employ them according to his discretion to secure the retreat of the army.

His subsequent charge averted a disastrous defeat of the Continental Army, earning him fame in America and saving the life of George Washington. As a result, on September 15, 1777, on the orders of Congress, Washington made Pulaski a brigadier general in the Continental Army. At that point, the cavalry was only a few hundred men strong organized into four regiments. These men were scattered among numerous infantry formations, and used primarily for scouting duties. Pulaski immediately began work on reforming the cavalry, and wrote the first regulations for the formation.

General Pulaski distinguished himself throughout the revolution and created the Pulaski Cavalry Legion while reforming the American cavalry as a whole. At the Battle of Savannah, while leading a daring charge against British forces, he was gravely wounded, and died shortly thereafter.

Pulaski has been remembered as a hero who fought for independence and freedom both in Poland and in the United States. Numerous places and events are named in his honor, and he is commemorated by many works of art. Pulaski is one of only eight people to be awarded honorary United States citizenship. He never married and had no descendants.

The Winiary mansion where Pulaski was born was designed by Vincent Augustine Locci and now serves as the Pulaski Museum.

The Polish Museum of America in Chicago is the crown jewel of the Polish-American community and one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States.

What does America owe to Generals Pulaski and Lafayette? Just our Freedom, that’s all. I have no doubt that America would have lost the Revolutionary war without them.

The Gene McVay Illegal Immigration Solution

February 28, 2017

The trillion dollar problem must be solved if America is to survive longer than a few short years.

iicc

It is impossible to get a figure on the totality of the impact of illegal immigration in America. My best guess is more than one trillion dollars a year.

Since Democrats and sanctuary cities are the major enablers of the flood of humanity living off of hard working taxpayers, the trillion dollars should come from them.

Here are my recommendations:
25% Sanctuary City tax
25% Sanctuary State tax
60% Motion Picture tax
60% Actor & Entainer tax
60% Hedge Fund tax
60% News Anchor tax

iic

Expand the property confiscation program to include:
■Mayors and City Directors of Sanctuary Cities.
■County Executives of Sanctuary Counties
■Governors and Legislators of Sanctuary States.
■Judges who have perpetuated and enabled illegal immigration.
■All persons who have harbored or transported illegal immigrants.
■Businesses and Companies that employ illegal immigrants.
■Illegal immigrants who have registered to vote or who are in possession of fraudulent Social Security or Immigration Documents
■Federal employees who have issued Social Security or Immigration Documents to illegal immigrants
■Federal, State and local officials who release illegal immigrants without due process
■Illegal Immigrants who fraudulently receive any government assistance
■Any government official or employee who enables or aids illegal immigration

Confiscated property to be sold at auction with proceeds going toward national defense, Veterans benefits, infrastructure and social security.

To facilitate this seamlessly and to get government working again, the law that permitted the failed government program of collective bargaining for government employees must end. Our government has never had child labor, poor working conditions, poor pay, black lung or poor benefits. Unions bankrupted the Post Office before the government wide takeover. Bureaucrats negotiate with bureaucrats to waste tax dollars.

illegalmexicans

The hungry kid who steals from a convenience store will surely be met with justice. Presidential Candidates, government employees and billionaire anarchists seem to operate above the law. Laws must allow government employees to be fired as easily as a grocery store manager. Fire them on the spot and take their keys. Use the VA system for appeals. My VA claim and appeal is 7 years old.

iiccc

If we are going to have a legitimate country, our laws must apply to every single person.

CTC

Lawless Mayors, Judges and politicians will quickly stop thumbing their noses at our Constitution and laws and America will become solvent in the process.
